High chairs?

My first didn’t use one, I was so invested and over protective (didn’t want her falling or bumping her head or what ever went through my mind) but now that she’s older I feel like she would have liked to have one and with baby #2 coming I don’t know if I should get him one or one for each (sibling rivalry)...any suggestions? Are those expensive “grow with your kid” type worth it?)

We have the stoke trip trap and I am very impressed with it. It’s easy to clean off. I don’t believe the ikea one has a section to rest their feet on. Research why having a comfortable high chair for a baby is important. Apparently when they’re not comfortable they start to wiggle and fidget which doesn’t allow them to concentrate on eating.

The Ikea one is practical af, but not ergonomically correct. If you're in doubt if you're gonna use it, I would say it might as well be nice to start with that.
The ones that grows with your child is nice, if they use it. Otherwise it's expensive especially in all the extra things you have to buy.

We have a Stokke tripptrapp for every day use, it's absolutely worth every penny and a bit more. It really lasts from they can sit to they are adults, small footprint, super easy to clean and maintain. And they always sit in a good hight to the table, makes less mess. My mum still have the one I used as a kid, it's now 30 years old. 
We also have ANTILOP from IKEA, it's great for taking to family and friends, but baby/toddler doesn't sit as stabile and correct as in the Tripp trapp, but I wouldn't want it as an everyday chair.

We have the Graco Blossom 6-in-1 and it's been wonderful. I had no idea what i was buying at the time and sometimes i wish it was more compact, but now with #2 otw I'm super glad that we have this seat. The 2yo sits in the booster strapped to a kitchen chair and the newborn will have the main highchair. No buying a second seat.

We prefer our IKEA one over our expensive chair. The tray is a perfect height.

I've heard good things about the IKEA ones, and if it doesn't end up working for you then you're not out of a ton of money.
