I keep hearing about how bad tampons can be for your vagina, so I'm looking into making the switch to a menstrual cup. I've had one baby.

I love my Saalt cup. I’ve been using it for 3 months now and previously used the Diva Cup before I had my daughter. Not every cup will work for every woman. Putacupinit.com has a quiz you can take to help find the best cup for you. There’s definitely a leaning curve but it’s well worth it. I’ll never go back to tampons.

I’ve used a diva cup for like 10 years and I would never go back. Really dreading using pads for post partum. The cup made my cramps better (compared to tampons) and was awesome to use while traveling because you can leave it in longer than a tampon without worrying (up to 12 hrs). It takes a bit to get used to, but it’s so worth it. It also saved me so much money!!!

Tampons absolutely ARE bad for your body, for those of you saying they aren’t. They absorb everything inside your vagina. Cups just catch your period and have a much lower rate of TSS. I can’t say I recommend that cup specifically as I’ve never used it. I enjoy the diva cup and even more than that I enjoy the lily cup compact

I voted no. I haven’t used disposable menstrual products for a few years now. I started out using a cup and it was too difficult for me😭 not the most user friendly in my opinion. Cloth pads are amazing though🙌🏼

Getting it positioned right takes practice, but I love my menstrual cup! It took me one or two to feel like I had it figured out, but even the time spent figuring it out wasn't bad. I just wore a bigger pad until I was sure I was doing it right, and then sometimes a smaller one for peace of mind. Once it's in right though, I never have leaks.

I bought this cup after my first was born. I only had two periods before getting pregnant again, so I didn’t get to use it a lot. It went in pretty easy, trying to spin it to get the suction is a bit difficult. I was afraid of spilling in on removal, so I removed it in the shower. You kind of have to push like you’re doing a kegal to get it down to grab it. It’s different, but I think with practice it’s a good option.

I was looking into menstrual cups when I finally got pregnant but one of my closest friends uses them and loves them.

Once you get the hang of “getting it up there” it’s AMAZING!! I literally forget I was on my period I don’t understand why but I seem to have a lot less pain and only bleed for 3 days. It can be a bit tricky at 1st but once you find your way you will never go back. Writing this I have remembered that I need to buy the bigger size after the baby come 🤦🏻‍♀️
