Ovulation & birth control pill?

Does your predicted ovulation date have any importance if you’re on the birth control pill? Is your chances for pregnancy increased or since you’re on the pill does it affect anything at all?

Birth control pills works by changing the balance of the hormone levels in your body, so that you do NOT ovulate. And viola, no ovulation, no egg, no baby.
Since it prevents ovulation, by messing wih your hormone levels, you also do not experience real menstruation. You get an artificially caused period called withdrawal bleeding. It happens when the hormone levels in your body drops because of the 7 pills without hormones.
So, no, there is no more fertile or less fertile time when you are on the pill. The pill works only as well as you follow the instructions. If you absolutely follow the instructions, it works pretty well.
