Why aren’t they inducing? Pre-E

I’m feeling super confused and frustrated with my drs office right now. I went in yesterday due to sudden swelling in my face and hands. My two in office BPs were 132/90 and 127/83. They drew labs and took a urine sample then sent me home. When the dr called later he said my labs were approaching abnormal but not horrible yet. However when I got the lab reports all my numbers were clearly out of normal range! My urine protein was 12.4-normal is <12-and my protein creatinine ratio was 2.9-normal is <2. Now I agree these levels aren’t horrible, but given my physical symptoms of pre-e, the fact that my levels are in fact above normal, and the fact that I have a history of pre-e with severe features I’m shocked that all they had to say was ‘we will repeat in a week and see what happens’. I mean I want my son to stay in as long as possible, and I know I don’t technically hit magic week 37 until Saturday, but I don’t want to get as sick as I did with my daughter again and I’m so scared that I’m headed there. Given all the facts why are they so nonchalant about this? Am I overreacting?
