I have a 1 year old male pit bull who’s started to show aggression. He is very possessive of toys and food, even with kids and other dogs. When he was little he didn’t do this he loved playing with other dogs at the park and didn’t have a problem with kids either. I’m pretty sure it started when a huge boxer attacked him over a toy, almost ripping his ear off when he was about 8 months so still small and a puppy. Now we can’t even bring him around other dogs except our female pit. And I definitley don’t trust him around kids at all, which concerns me because I’m pregnant due feb2. I would like to fix his behavior before then. Has anyone else experienced this with their pits? Should I try classes or can I do something at home? He’s extremely dominant and stubborn as hell. I never thought I’d have an issue with him, I don’t want him to turn into the stereotype they have 😭 Here’s a pic of him
