Ovulation after d&c?

How long did it take you to start ovulating again? Friday makes two weeks since I’ve had the d&c. I haven’t used any opks yet as I’m not sure exactly where my hormones are at. But I am wanting to start using them so I can tell when my period should start back up again. My dr did tell me the day of the surgery that in two weeks time my hormones *should* be back to normal as my hormones need to be back to “normal” for the blood work he’s wanting to run on me. This isn’t my first d&c but I don’t really remember my one from last year as I was fairly high from labor and was a mental mess and a half so it’s all kind of a blur to me. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance ladies.
