How many dates would you say is enough to make things official? I’ve been dating a guy for a month now and I don’t want to rush things or make it seem like I’m taking forever. Who should bring up the idea?

There is never a number or dates that you should make it official. It is official when both partners have the conversation and are both comfortable and consenting in going to the next step. My current bf and I went on one date before making it official, but we’ve known each other a long time and liked each other for a while. It’s all about how the relationship feels and if it’s ready to go on to the next step.
