Gender disappointment?

Question

Tonight we found out it’s a boy. We have a son and wanted a girl because there’s no girls in his family and we might be done after this child. 
I’m not sad just a little disappointed. Anyone else feel this?

There should be no shame in gender disappointment. I’ve always wanted only girls and i found out my first is a boy and I’m so sad. I cry anytime i go look at baby clothes because the girl clothes are so sweet and remind me how bad i wanted a little girl 😢♥️

I just want a healthy baby after 2 losses. There are little girls out there who need a home if you're done having kids after this boy.

Yeah I felt the same. I wanted a girl and this will be my 3rd boy. I do have 1 girl and shes 12. So this was gonna be my last pregnancy but I might try again. I lost a little girl back in October. But dont get me wrong I'm happy and just want the baby happy and healthy  but at first yeah was kinda sad

I have the same feeling. I have 2 boys and was hoping for a little girl. I have only done the at home sneak peek but it came back boy. I was disappointed. Of course I just hope for healthy baby but it’s hard to not have some feelings of disappointment. This will be our last baby.

Literally, same. Just found out this morning. I wanted a girl so badly. This is our second boy and we only want 2 children. My husband is one of 2 boys, his brother had 2 boys, and now we will have 2 boys. My MIL would never say it, but I know she will be disappointed! Oh well. Yay for boy moms!

We’re just hoping for a healthy birth for our child, and we’re planning to adopt anyways so we will have both genders in our family eventually. :)
