Should I let him go?

We have been TTC for over a year now with no luck. I have a son from a previous relationship already but my partner doesn’t have any.

We got the results for his sperm analysis today which is fine, so the issue must be me. I got ill a few years ago and I think it is affecting my ability to conceive.

I feel like we should split up so he can still have a chance of becoming a dad. He is an amazing step dad but I feel it would be selfish of me to expect him to stay knowing I can’t give him the baby we both want so badly.

Yes I love him and it’s not the only reason we are together but after trying for this long I feel he should find someone else if the issue is me. I’m torn and I don’t know what to do.
