10 month old suddenly fussy

Does anyone else have this problem? Our sweet, easy going, constantly happy boy has become super needy and fussy. He can’t stay awake in between naps for longer than 2 hours, wants to be held or hold our fingers and walk, and throws food all over the floor during meal times (normally he has been a fantastic eater)! He is just getting over a cold, and is wrapping up leap 7, so we expected him to be a little off. But it seems like he has done a complete 180 overnight. Any tips are appreciated!
