When did you Announce baby #2 to family?

I'm currently 8 weeks pregnant with baby #2 and already starting to show this time around. We are around family a lot so I know we won't be able to put off telling them for long. Feel free to explain your choice and whether you would do it differently!

This is my second and I’m showing already also. Just about at 9 weeks now and we have our first ultrasound tomorrow. Planning to tell our parents/ siblings this weekend as long as everything is ok with the appointment tomorrow. We’re all supposed to be meeting a photographer at a park so our toddler can get pictures with his grandparents and we can get some family shots. Then after we take some nice ones we’re planning to switch his shirt to announce so the photographer can be there to get reactions 😄.

We found out at 4 weeks. Told these people at these times:
4 weeks: my 2 sisters as I’d need their support, my best friend
5 weeks: my parents as they’d supported me through miscarriage the previous cycle
6 weeks: my close colleagues at work who might be able to help me hide it until 12 wks from management 
9 weeks: his parents, sister and grandma. They don’t know about the miscarriage. They’d had a loss in the family recently and didn’t need anymore bad news. We were going to wait until 12wks & OB appointment had happened but I was so sick & having dinner out with them it would’ve got hard to hide

We’ve decided to wait until after our first scan, which is at 13 weeks. I’m 8 weeks just now and had thought about telling family but I think it’s best to wait until we know everything is okay. I don’t want them to make a big deal in front of our 2 year old just in case. It feels right to wait.

This is my second as well and we announced around 9 wks only to parents and siblings, which was after the 1st ultrasound. Of course my MIL proceeded to tell additional family members on their side immediately after. 🙄 But it's all good, I'm relieved after telling. We won't spread it further until probably 20 wks after the anatomy scan, but we have that luxury living 6+ hrs from family, as we won't see anyone for quite some time! I'll wait to tell work until I absolutely can't wait any longer lol (i.e., very obviously showing).

I was pregnant last year and we told our families early on, but then I had a miscarriage so we are waiting with this one. I’m 8 weeks today.

I wanted to wait until after my first ultrasound, but we were going houseboating with my family, and I figured it would be 100x easier if I told them and they could help with my 2 year old. It’s so much easier to not try to hide it.

I have told some already that are my main supporters. I’m waiting for my next ultrasound at 8 weeks to then tell the rest of my family. After that probably just tell people as I see them.

With our first we announced after the US around 9-10 weeks. With this baby I plan to announce soon too.. as soon as I get the energy to actually do something cute! I’ll be 8 weeks on Saturday 😊 all our families knew before announcing on social media’s or anything though

I have my first ultrasound right at 10 weeks, then we go on vacation with my family. We plan to tell them around then. I wanted to put it off as long as I could this time, just because I don’t want to deal with the over-involvement while I feel like crap. Lol
