Married couples with kids, quick question.

Couples that are married or live together & have children; Do y'all have nights/days out with your friends every now & then? Like the lady/man goes out with her/his girlfriends/guy friends to eat or have a couple of drinks? (actual question)

Or it's just something y'all don't do anymore since y'all are married & have kids now?

I'm asking this because I'm having a bit of a debate with my husband about this. He doesn't agreee that I should be able to go out with my girlfriend for brunch without the kids (my mom would watch them).

He did once say to me "go to your moms with the kids & I'll go with my friends" 😡😒

So I believe he thinks he CAN do that but I can't.
