Will my baby forget me if I go back to work?

I am literally bawling my eyes out right now. I start back work at 6 weeks pp (on Monday). My baby will be going to daycare. Will my baby not love me anymore or think the daycare worker is his mom? Please help, if you’ve been in a similar situation before.

I go back to work after 6 weeks on the 24th and I’m nervous too. Hubby will be at home with her, so no daycare, but I’m going to miss taking care of her during the day, and I hope she’ll miss me - even though I also hope she won’t be too fussy without me.

Sorry I haven't been in this exact situation, but your baby will not forget you! My husband has been back at work for 50+ hours every week since ours was 2 weeks old and she still remembers him

I can only imagine how hard it is!! I’m not looking forward to going back even part time. The separation 😭. But baby will not forget you! You won’t be away for that long and it’s hard wired into baby who his mom is 😊. Like someone else said.. my boyfriend works 40-50 hours a week also and when he comes home my baby boys face lights up because he loves his dad!!

I was sobbing two days ago thinking about going back to work. I told my husband I didn’t want to go back... she cries when I put her down, what’s going to happen when I drive away?? It’s so emotional and I’ve had several of my mom friends assure me that it’s harder for mom than it is for baby. She definitely will not forget you! Babies have their mom’s smell, voice, touch, etc memorized. Hang in there!! ❤️
