TMI big time— blood—should I go to the doc?

Question

Really weird.... I had a 94day cycle, then a 25 day cycle leading into this period. And it’s a longer period then normal.... this is Day 7 when usually I’m stoping/just spotty around day 5/6.... I wanted to take a bath after work ...... this happened..... 
Does this happen? Do I need to call my OBGYN ???

Honestly, I work in the ER and I think it’s worth a trip to make sure something else isn’t going on. You could be bleeding somewhere and thinking it’s from your period.

You really should go to the er not wait thatsway to much blood. Even on my heaviest days my bath water usually has barely any blood

Go to the ER at hospital, instead of waiting for a doctor appointment. That's a lot of blood. Not normal. Could be a serious issue not just bad period.

I had something like this happen to me when I was 16/17 I used to have irregular periods and then one time I had my period for about 3/4 months straight. I also went through a phase where my period was extrémalo heavy, as in I had to wear the extra absorbent nighttime pads and it was so heavy that I would bleed through those pads in like 1hr. I ended up going to my doctor and he found out I was anemic because of all the blood loss and had to go on birth control to regulate it. I had to drink one birth control pill in the morning and one in the night. It took about a week to regulate and since then I haven’t had it happen again. Check in with your doctor or gynecologist.
