Baby shower after 10 yrs??

Question

I wanted some advice/opinions on this. I am pregnant with my second child, however, there will be a 10 year gap between my kids. So since it’s been so long and we have no left-over baby stuff, would it be appropriate to have a baby shower?? I know you’re only suppose to have one for your first, but since it’s been 10 years, I don’t think friends and family would be too offended. Any thoughts?!?

I had #3 around 14 years after #2. I probably would have accepted a shower had someone offered to throw one.

Ive never heard that u can only have a baby shower for ur first. I mean if someone wants to throw me a baby shower for baby #2, even if its only a year apart, who am i to say no & deny my baby some positivity? Im going to all the baby showers people want to throw for me & my babies :)

I have five kids and currently pregnant with #6 and I didn't have a baby shower until my 4th child and she was 8 years later so I say yes you need all the help you can get cause starting over is rough 😂😂

Yes, you definitely should have one after 10 years. Things have changed so much and it's like starting completely over. Totally appropriate.

My son is 12 yrs old and I’m 24 weeks. Having a shower 9/21 and family is super excited for it. If any one person may not be..well they can stay home 😀

I have 3 children 17, 19, and 22. People threw me a surprise baby shower for each one. I am now 9w5d with baby 4 and some of my friends are already planning a shower. I’m really grateful because this is my husbands first child and the first grandchild for his parents and after 17 years, I have zero baby stuff.

I have 17 years since my first and my girlfriends are definitely throwing me one.  Lol.  I am totally starting from scratch again.  Absolutely accept it if someone offers to do it for you!! Now if I can only quit buying my own stuff so there’s things left for my friends to get haha
