First time mom. Braxton Hicks?

I’m a ftm so if this is a stupid question I’m sorry lol. I’m 30w3d and I’m having pain in my upper stomach. They feel kinda like period cramps but higher than normal. I can’t tell if its maybe a gastro issue or something else. Could it be Braxton Hicks?

Braxton hicks feel like a tightening of your uterus. It doesnt feel good, but shouldn't be too painful. They also arent consistent as far as timing... like one min apart or something like that. They are pretty sporadic.
