What temperature did/do you keep your baby nursery??

I live with family and due in August and I’m debating to get a window air up unit in the nursery. We have central air where I live but family keeps it on 74-76 degrees snd I live in Florida and sometimes even I be hot. I have a fan in my room right now.

I read somewhere nursery temperature should be around 64 degrees to 68 degrees when sleeping to help prevent sids.

I just don’t want the room to be to hot and don’t mind buying an air unit.

What temperature do y’all keep the nursery or is it not s big deal.
