How much of the mainstream media feeds reporting politics do you trust?

What are your trusted news sources? 
Do you question and do your own research when it comes to politics to discern you’re own opinion and beliefs, or do you trust your news feeds?

The greatest trick this administration has pulled is destroying trust in the free and legitimate press. That’s what dictators across history have all done. 
Of course we should be conscious consumers, recognize bias when we see it, cross check sources, wait until full details emerge, and understand the difference between opinion pieces and actual news reporting, but throwing it all out is ridiculous. 
I’ll always trust “mainstream” sources like NPR, PBS, BBC, etc. over whatever random ass alt right nonsense publications people seem to believe are more credible today.

It’s funny how different news stations will report things differently if you pay attention. That being said, it’s unfortunate to me that Trump has created such fear and distrust of the media— in reality, we *need* the media in order to get an understanding of what’s really going on in our country.
That being said, NPR and Wall Street Journal are my go-to news sources.

I really don’t trust any news feed with politics. Even if they claim to be neutral, they lean one way or the other. I take all info in, but mainly form opinions based off of the person themselves.

And I'm fairly happy with their reportings.. so, anything I might question from those sources I'll find out with my own investigating.

I trust them, to a degree. I follow various biased sources on a political spectrum as well. I then reach my own opinion. 
Biased doesn’t mean it’s fake or unreliable, just need to recognize the bias. I hate it when people say “X is soooo biased; I can’t trust it” with anything they don’t agree with.

There is no media that is completely unbiased. I just follow multiple outlets from multiple countries to try to gain my own perspective. I follow npr, Al Jazeera, bbc, and sometimes cnn.  I can’t stand Fox News.  I avoid shows that are all about opinion and try to focus on whatever facts I can glean.

I read a lot from various different places and think for myself.

I try to find the same story across multiple outlets and look for inconsistencies if a story seems completely outrageous but in general I trust CBS, NPR, PBS, Washington Post, and when I already know my opinion, I enjoy watching MSNBC.
