First OB appt....

Hi all, I got a positive test yesterday (confirmed today with a clear blue digital) and I called my doctor to ask for next steps. The receptionist set me up with an appointment on August 6th.... I’ll be almost 7 weeks pregnant then. Is that normal? I was expecting to get a blood test this week. Receptionist said they’d put in the order for bloodwork at the appointment.

Is it typical for the first appointment to be so delayed?

Do you think I’ll get an ultrasound then?
