18 days late after starting Metformin 😢

Please someone give me some insight or tell me you’ve been through this before 😩 I started taking Metformin on June 20th. I was already in CD 26 when I started taking them , today I am 18 days late and got a negative pregnancy test Saturday evening w/ a blue dye test.

All this worries me so I called my doctor and she basically just told me to wait & see what happens. Either pregnancy or period.

Has anyone ever went through this their 1st month on Metformin?

At this point I’m just ready for AF to arrive so I can start trying. 🥵
