Ovulation after miscarriage

Alex

How long did it take you to ovulate after a miscarriage? I miscarried in my 7th week, passed everything naturally, and bled for 8 days. I took a pregnancy test a few days after my bleeding stopped, and it was negative, so I know my levels are 0. Now I’m just wondering if it will take a while for me to ovulate again. I’ve heard it can take about 2-6 weeks, so I’m wondering what anyone’s experience was, who has miscarried naturally with out medical intervention (I only say that because I know sometimes doctors tell women to wait 3 months after certain procedures, therefore they may not be tracking ovulation) . It took 6 months after my daughter was born, to get my period back, so I have no idea when to expect it.

(I also have ovulation strips on order)
