I just got out of the hospital over the weekend and was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. I originally had pain in my side that wrapped around my back and was treated. Now, two days later and my lower back is in excruciating pain. It’s very tense and no matter what I do it’s still killing me. I can’t take any pain meds as I was told by the doctor and I’ve been taking the antibiotics as prescribed (today is the first day). Should I go back to ER or contact my doctor? Is this normal? Please help me I’ve never had one of these before and I’ve been crying all day bc of the pain. I can barely walk or sit and it’s effecting me at work.
