Is this normal??

So I had a medical abortion may 25th due to an ectopic pregnancy

I was around 5 weeks getting the abortion

I have been bleeding from may 25th to now.

The last 2 weeks it hasn’t been much but still bleeding.

This week it is really heavy to the point where I have to wear a pad

So I’m guessing it’s my next period

My question is

Is it normal to continue to bleed until your next period? Or should I have stopped bleeding at all?

I’m amazed to see how much I can bleed and Stil even be alive
