Help?

So I’m going to a festival on the weekend and I’m sadly on my period - I’m on my second day and I have bled through the pad about 5 times already and I have never worn a tampon in my life so I don’t know if that’s an option.

I’m wearing high waisted shorts so what do I do? I’m not sure if I will bleed through to my shorts but I am not taking spares. I could try master the tampon in the 3 days before but I’m not sure
