Recently broke up with my ex, pregnant and we’re not really talking only if it’s to update about baby but he text me saying he’s got money and to meet so we can go buy baby some things. I feel like if I do this he’ll try something or think that there’s a chance again since it’s so fresh, try to worm his way back you know?
What would you do?

Do you not think you can stand your ground? He can't worm his way back in if you don't let him. I'd think you'd want to go so you have a say in what's purchased.....

If you want him to be there for the baby, go. For the baby’s sake. Remember you’re still gonna be communicating when the baby arrives, don’t give him a reason to not want to be around. Definitely be civil.

I would say bring a good friend or your mom along. If he's sincere and it is really about the baby he shouldn't mind. And the extra person will act as a buffer so he hopefully won't try to flirt or start things up again. It will also be easier to turn him down firmly when you have someone there having your back.
If you left him because there was abuse involved and you fear for your safety then don't go at all. And explain that's why you are not going.

It all depends on why you broke up and what’s really going on.
Maybe he is trying to make things better and maybe he wants to be with you and the child.?. You need to talk to him about it. If you don’t want him back in your life then tell him no, he can go alone.
