Periods and IUD

so i got Kyleena inserted about a month ago and am on my first period with it being in. maybe it’s just because my body is still getting used to it but i’ve been bleeding for a week and a half now? it’s been mostly dark brown blood but yesterday and today it started having some bright red mixed in. there’s also several clots.

before kyleena i was on the pill and my periods lasted about a week anyway. but the fact that i’m still bleeding pretty regularly has me a little worried. thoughts?
