"Spoiled"

Cassie

Mama's! My baby is six weeks old and isn't too fond about laying on the floor for long. He has a bouncer and a swing that he prefers more than the floor. We try to give him time on the floor too but he starts crying after a few minutes and we end up moving him.

I was doing dishes earlier and he was in his bouncer, after about ten minutes of being in the he started to fuss and began to cry. The Dr has told us to let him cry once more. Ugh. I let him cry for about five minutes until I was done, I knew he had a clean diaper and wasn't hungry. When I was finished in the kitchen I went and picked him up, and as soon as I began to pick him up be stopped crying. He was a little sweaty at this point.

Do your babies do this? Do they lay on the floor and be content for a while or is this "normal" at this age? Should we let him cry more?

Please, any input and advice. ☺️🙁
