I'm 19 years old don't have a license. I need them because it's apart of being independent. Where is the best area to start out practicing. What helped y'all learn. How long did it take you to get the hang of driving?

i drove with my parents when i was 15(when i had my temps) and they took me to an empty parking lot (of a closed business, or late at night when a place is closed) and we practiced parking, and turning and such

I just ok driving lessons I think they were like $300 or something like that. Took me about 2 weeks to get really use to it since I was only driving when I was with my driving teacher.
