My son is 1 month old. For the past couple days hes had little bits of blood in his poop. At first it was just little specs of bloody mucus and poo I asked his doctor she said it's because his butt is a little irritated from a small diaper rash but I just changed him and there was a lot more blood and the irritated area was not bleeding. I'm pretty worried but his pediatrician keeps brushing it off like it's nothing. Every poop seems like theres more blood. My mom said I probably need to switch his formula but I have to check with the doctor first. Has anyone else had anything like this? What did you do? (Idk if this is relevant but hes on similac advanced right now he also just got over a bacterial infection) please help
