When are y’all deciding to tell people about your pregnancy?

Just wondering when others are deciding to start letting people know. I think I will once I hit 12+ since I’ve had 3 other miscarriages.

Close Family (mum, sisters, dad, granny) right away and anyone else after 12 week scan :)

We’re not telling anyone. If we can get away with it, they’ll just see newborn photos. This is baby number 5 for us and we already know the kickback we’ll hear. We don’t really care for it. I want positive energy surrounding this baby

Last time we told our closest family and best friends straight away and EVERYONE went behind our back and told other people 😒😒 so we’re not so sure this time, we were going to wait for our 12 week scan but I’m too excited I think il tell my mum soon! X

I’m 7weeks pregnant and i’ve told two of my closest friends and gonna tell mom after my next ultrasound (23.july) and everyone else after 12+ weeks.

Ive already told all close friends and family.. but im planning to tell everyone at work at 7-8 weeks..(after my first scan) i work in retail and theres a lot of carrying trays etc involved so i dont want people wondering why im not pulling my weight in the same way

I just told my mom at 6 weeks this is my first pregnancy and I wanted her support and advice on any questions I have. She’s been so great I don’t regret telling her. I just had my first appointment with my OB a few days ago my next one is at 10 weeks and he’s ordering a ultrasound for that day so if everything goes well we plan on telling the rest of our family after that.

I just found out Monday. I’m approximately 4 weeks and 4 days how. I have an appointment next Tuesday to verify the pregnancy and talk to my obgyn. After it’s verified, I plan to tell my immediate family/husband’s family and my best friends. However I won’t be telling anyone else, I won’t be announcing it to social media, and I’ll be asking my family and friends I do tell to keep it quiet until I personally announce it on my own to everyone else basically. 
I can understand being afraid the first trimester of losing the baby, but I think telling immediate family and close friends is a good thing. It’s the support you need, no matter what ends up happening.
