Flea bombing while pregnant? Help?

We are planning to flea bomb. It will be a family member who will do it. We were planning on leaving with the kids and I am 34weeks pregnant? Does anyone know the safety procautions. We only have one animal that doesn't go outside. We have treated and everything. Since summer has hit it has gotten extremely bad. I been worried because I am pregnant and have smaller children 2 and 4. I do think know what else to do before the gets here. Any advice?

Flea collars are crap.  Look into frontline or something similar.  We had a  flea problem one year - and I learned something important.  It doesn't matter if you flea bomb and use flea preventative if your yard is infested, it will still always come back. Bomb the house, bath the animals, put flea preventative on them, and treat the yards.

I'm flea bombing. The fleas have been very bad this year! We've got two cats and it's miserable. I've tried everything from DE to 20 dollar flea collars! The flea collars didn't do anything at all. The fleas just avoid they're necks but still ask over their bellies and faces. And there indoor cats! I just suggest having SO help clean up. I'm 27 wks and there's no way I'm bringing a baby home to this!

Don't flea bomb cuz then who's going to clean it up?
Get a flea collar I found they work best and my 2 cats wear them all year long now as preventative cuz when my son was 1 I had a friend bring over fleas and before I could get it under control they were everywhere. Literally. They were even in my son's crib!! I was so pissed off at the person who brought them over I had dh ban them from my house until they dealt with their animals and household.
My aunt gave me this residual spray stuff. It's called doktor doom home and garden residual spray. It's a green can. You spray it on everything that is fabric and let it dry, best bet is to do it at night and lock your pet in the bathroom or something. And spray your couches and carpet and such and then in the morning you vacuum. Strip your beds and spray the mattresses during the day and vacuum them after dinner. The residual spray once it's dry is not harmful to you or your pets but it will still kill the fleas and other things in your carpets. I did it for 3 days in a row and I had instant control over the issue. After a week and a half of spraying plus having flea collars on my animals the fleas were gone. I then sprayed once every 3 days for about 2 weeks just to be sure and I've never had a problem with fleas since and it's been 5 years now. I highly recommend flea collars though. We tried the advantage liquid stuff but it made my cat very sick. She threw up for 2 days straight and I had to bathe her for 4 days to make sure the liquid stuff got of her skin. The vet told me there wasn't anything else I could do other than bathe my cat to get it off her cuz she just had a bad reaction to it. I'll neve use that stuff again. My cats do perfectly fine with the flea collars. I get the ones that kill ticks, adult fleas and prevent the female fleas from laying healthy eggs that hatch. They last 6 months I believe it is.

We bombed three times this summer while I've been pregnant. As long as you air the house out for the appropriate time and have your spouse do the majority of the cleaning after its fine. We did frontline on our cats and in between bombs we did diatomaceous earth on the carpets and couches. As long as you get food grade it's cheap, and safe for the animals and kids. It's a pain to clean up but it works. It's a little dehydrating but I seemed to be the only one that it bothered. Making my eyes a little scratchy and extra thirsty. Also the bomb we used was a "dry" one. Low residue and less smell, probably a little less effective but I felt it was a little safer for me and the kids.
