Is it a stupid question to ask if you say :
“ am i still a virgin if I use tampons, or if I got fingered and bled a little when it happned the first time?”
Cause one of my friends is being a stubborn about it and telling me she’s not a virgin because of that and I think it’s stupid.

Some people confuse their virginity with the breaking or stretching of their hymen. You lose your virginity by having sex, not from being fingered or by using tampons. But you CAN BLEED (this is where the confusion comes) from using a tampon or being fingered. This is your hymen being broken or stretched. And because a lot of people bleed when they have sex for the very first time, so if they bleed when being fingered etc they may think they are no longer a virgin

People can break there hymen by horseback riding or a pummel horse (gymnastics). It doesnt mean there not a virgin. To be a virgin it means you have never had sex.

3 things. 1. Some people do consider this to be a thing. 2. Stop calling your “friend” stupid for believing what she does. 3. Why does her believing that effect you? Does it make you feel like you’re not a Virgin? Why does it matter? It doesn’t. You’re picking a fight over beliefs. Let her think that. She’ll figure out eventually that’s not what it means but right now for some reason she thinks that. You can look up the definition of virginity to prove a point. Name calling and belittling doesn’t.
