I’m 6 weeks 5 days and this is the 3rd time I’ve had random bits of spotting like this? I’ve had two scans (one being yesterday) and baby was okay but I’m just curious if anyone else has had this? I don’t understand why I keep spotting

I’ve read that scans (if they were transvaginal) can cause spotting. Everything down there is just very sensitive and engorged with blood...so it may be linked to that? The quantity and color of it doesn’t look worrisome from what you’ve described ☺️

I had spotting like this one time right around 5 and a half weeks. When I had my first scan at 8 weeks, there was a tiny little “pocket” they said no bigger than a centimeter, that was like a little blood pocket between my uterine wall and where the placenta had formed. They said it was completely normal, happens all the time, that it should resolve itself but that it was the cause of the spotting I’d had. They also said it could cause me to spot again as it naturally works it way out. Maybe you have something similar?
