I play the 90s early 2000's station on amazon music and Pandora all the time. And me and my 11 year old will lay in bed and watch Nsync, 98°, backstreet boys, you know all the pop from then and some of the R&B like usher and Jon B.

Since I'm nearing 40 I don't consider 80s and especially 90s to be older music. I do listen to a lot of 60s-90s though.

My music tastes bounce around so much that I can’t pinpoint what they are on a particular day. Right now, I’m listening to game soundtracks (I think the one I’m listening to right now is from 2008).
