Sperm gets where it needs to go in seconds. The only thing keeping your legs up after sex increases is your chance of getting a UTI.
However, I would never call someone stupid for doing it. If it gives you hope or makes you more positive, then go for it! While there’s really no reason for doing it, you’re definitely not stupid!

All the not peeing will do is give you a UTI. 
And t en broken that lifting your legs/hips after sex does literally nothing to increase your chances of conceiving. 
The sperm gets to where it needs to go without those things.

I put my legs up the first two months. Didn’t the third, went pee right after. Got pregnant 🤷🏽‍♀️. Viable, healthy sperm already start swimming the second he ejaculates up the cervix. 
But if it eases your mind and it makes you feel better about the process. Do it (just know it could throw off your ph levels and maybe cause a yeast infection). This whole journey is supposed to be “stress free” and if it eases stress. Do it.
