Graphic/medical detail question-WARNING
I'm sorry if this is too graphic for anyone-- WARNING. I'm still trying to make sense of it all and kicking myself for not asking more questions at the ER last night.
I was 12.5 weeks and I went in on Monday for an US. That's when we saw there was no HB and the size was only 10-11 weeks. I went back the next day for them to look at me with newer equipment and the baby was measuring out to be 8 weeks. Doctor said something about that the size of the fetus usually reduces as it's getting ready to miscarry.
I mostly miscarried at home and had some big long stringy clots. Was it possible that one of those was the sac?
I eventually started hemorrhaging really badly and had to go to the ER. At the end the doctor started pulling out more parts but I didn't see anything. It hurt a lot. Do you think that is it possible it just disintegrated into clot form? Or do you think she was pulling out the actual baby?
They said they were going to analyze the tissue to identify sections and parts.. what does that mean?
I have so many questions, but the doctor was a resident at the hospital, and I won't see her again.
Can't seem to find information on the internet.
