Went in for my yearly eye appointment and it felt so awkward. My optometrist had such a cold tone towards me.

“Why are you here today?”

”You’re vision hasn’t changed at all.”

“Everything looks fine”

“Your vision hasn’t changed at all except slightly”

Just his tone and the way he was saying things made me feel horrible. I’m supposed to go in yearly right? That’s what I was told, and I wanted new glasses??? I go through Walmart with insurance and it’s the only place in my town where I can get glasses. I’d have to travel 30 minuets out for anywhere else, which I can’t do. Ugh 😒🙄

Plus I can tell my vision is getting worse, and I want stronger glasses SO I CAN SEE BETTER???? That’s literally the point.
