when did your little one start grabbing for toys?

just out of curiosity. my baby boy will be 3 months next tuesday. i see interactive toys that say 3m+ and while he seems interested in toys, i don’t think he’s anywhere near wanting to grab at them. i mean, he swats them accidentally lol but that’s about it.

My son is 4 months, he just started to swat at them yesterday. He's still super into eating his hands.

My son grabbed his toy for the first time today 10 weeks old 😁 Dono if it was luck or if he tended to do it, I wasn't in the room..

I don't remember when exactly it was, but I remember once she was sitting on her own (about 6 months) when a toy would get out of reach, she'd try to reach for it and I'd have to bring it back. Before that though, I'd hand her toys and she'd hold them and shake them but she didn't really reach for them on her own.

My daughter grabs things, but it's still hard for her. Oball is great as they can't avoid not grappling it if they open their hands. We have a few small stuffed animals as well that has tiny arms and legs that are easy to grab.
You can always help your child to grab things. It'll happen eventually 😊
