Why cherry?!?

My doctor gave me some zofran after I had food poisoning and I haven’t needed it yet. She told me it was kind of a cherry flavor. But when I talked to the pharmacist he said no this off brand doesn’t have a flavor. So I was all excited to get some nausea relief today and popped one in my mouth... ITS FRICKING CHERRY.

I just don’t understand why medicine has to be cherry flavor 🙄

(Back story- any artificial cherry flavor makes me throw up, since I was little. Don’t know why always has)
