How long did you cry?

How long did it take you to stop crying off and on all day every day? There is no end in sight. I'm not sure when I'll know if I really need serious help.

It’s been a year and the crying is not as often but the grief is there (naturally). Therapy has made a difference for me.

There isn’t a week that goes by that I do cry. It went from every single day of crying to maybe twice a week. I’m so sorry for loss. Praying that you find comfort soon.

I lost my son at 39 weeks 4 days. At first, it took me a week to not wake up in the middle of the night and sit on the couch crying. I focused my time on finishing the babies room for the next baby. It took me a month which I didn’t cry much because I put my time and focus on the room. After I finished it, I cried every single day for another week. I would sit in the room, and just hold his picture and cry. I think I’m doing a lot better now (I lost him May 27th). It doesn’t get easier, things will trigger you, but you will cope better some days better than others. Just remember.  You are a wonderful person and no matter how much pain you are going through right now, it will lessen and you will be blessed with a baby you can watch grow old. That’s at least what I’ve been telling myself the last few months. I really hope you have a support person in your life. My boyfriend is my best friend. We’ve known each other 14 years, but have been together 9.5. I honestly don’t know if I would even be here today without him in my life.

It’s been three months and I’m still depressed but not crying. Convinced that my medication helps with that but I have a coworker due around a week before I was supposed to be so the healing has been slow watching her go through everything I was supposed to.

7.5 months for me. i cry about 3x a week now. it used to be daily. it gets easier but never seems to go away

I think maybe you should reach out for help. Don’t make yourself suffer on top of the grief you are having.

It’ll be a year on July 31 and I’m 25 weeks pregnant. I still cry daily. I will never get over the loss.
