Bathtime Tips?

I tend to make things way more complicated than they should be😂 
Anyone have any bathtime advice to make it simple and not such a hassle? 
Good thing is, she loves baths until it’s hair washing time. Just like me when I was a kid😂

I set everything up right beforehand. So the water in his tub, wash clothes, towels are set out. New diaper, clothes and blanket all laid out on the bed. Then I just put him in his tub and work from head down 😊 not trying to rush but not leaving him in for a long time either. He loves it and it relaxes him.

Just take your time and enjoy it. But bathing a newborn can be a bit of an Orchestrated event. We actually schedule her bathtime so we are both available to assist in bathing her.

I always wash little mans hair first. I keep him all wrap in a towel and wash his hair. I rub it dry, then I take diaper off and wash his body. No screaming here anymore :)

After my shower my husband's hands me him. We found showers are easier

We wash hair last by swaddling in the towel  and holding her hair under the running water at the sink.  It’s how our nurses did it and both my babies have practically fallen asleep during it

My baby LOVES baths. I make sure water is nice and warm and I talk to her the entire time and make it fun. I make sure water stays on her and keeps her warm. We take our time and I wash all of her. I have the towel ready and wrap her right after she gets out so she stays warm. Then quickly put her diaper on and rub her down with lotion. I maintain eye contact and talk to her the entire time.

I always wait for my husband to be home so we can double team it. Our baby loves baths, until she gets cold and then screams. We've found it's better to have an extra wash cloth, dunk it in the warm water and lay it across her torso so it keeps her warm. Then with the other washcloth we will put it in the water and ring it out over her for a minute first to get her warm, then wash her. Don't forget to re dunk the one on the torso though in the middle cause it gets cold!
