How long after being induced did you have baby my husbands niece is being induced today because high blood pressure and protein in her urine they said she’s 1 cm dialated her due date was in the beginning of August

First was 9 hours start to finish, second was 8, third was 7.

I wasnt induced for that reason, but after cervidil, pitocin, and breaking my water, nothing happened at all. I didnt thin out, didnt dilate one bit. Ended up in a csection because they had to after breaking my water.

Everyone is different. If she’s a true preeclamptic (most aren’t, even though they are diagnosed with it) she should deliver quickly but not always. It could be hours, it could be days. As a labor and delivery nurse I’ve seen about every length of time you can image.
