How do u play toys with ur baby?

Question

I think i do it wrongly. Coz my baby still holding things with one hand and still in sensory phase. 
So i met a friend. She said at this age my baby should be able stacking toys or at least put it next to each other. I said nope. Right now shes only holding and trowing and put in her mouth.
Then shes like but she can already put a toy cup at her mouth ( pretend play) i was like nope.... 
Can ur babies do all these?
Teach me guys?

We do a little bit of everything, my son loves to stack and his early interventionist said he's very ahead in his play skills (he's very behind in gross motor which is why we see her)
We do pretend play and he mimics me. We still do a ton of sensory stuff too which he loves. He like to shake and throw things still as well.
I try to do a mix of different play throughout the day. Your little one may just really like the sensory stuff still and that's okay! Just keep trying and making am example for her by playing and showing her how to play.
One sensory thing my son loved that I got off pinterest was a 'jello dig' I made a huge jello mold and put little toys in it as it set, put down a disposable table cloth and let him go crazy digging in the jello. He had so much fun if try that!
Pinterest has a ton of ideas, as well as the apps 'baby sparks' and 'kindu' that will give you ideas on how to play.

Just gonna say it, 13 months olds aren’t learning from TV

Honestly varies from day to day and different parts of the day for atleast 2hrs I get down and play with him and teach him, he does do a lot of solo playing but he prefers it that way.
When his dad gets off of work we go on walks or walk about the yard and let him run and play outside and or take him to the park for a hr at the very least. 
We also do finger painting, blocks and turn music on and dance with him when his dad is home.
An he does run about for 30 min to a hr before bed we play Chase and or ball back and forth or play catch, hide and seek
He also gets 30mins of tv every night we watch Puffin Rock on Netflix with the dim lights after bath time as a wind down for the night activity he sits between me and his dad and snuggles
An then before bed we let him climb the steps as we walk behind him and explore his room and then put him in the crib and read him a book every night.

I'd let her play by herself with the same stacking toys everyday, and don't worry too much. Each kid learns at a different rate. She's probably ahead in another area. Also do not teach her how to play, let her learn by herself.

Idk never really thought about it. My son knows to throw a ball.  Can work some toys.   Doesnt really stack them persay.    He will stack pillows though and is learning to put together legos.   But idk we just play with him like the toy is intended for use.   But he also still chews on things and throws things too.
