I am not against vaccinations, but I am also aware of the dangers of vaccination and have personally had two life threatening reactions to vaccinations I have had before ( HpV and Flu) so I am of course a worried mother trying to make the best decision. I believe in vaccinations but I also see that sadly over vaccinating is just as bad, so this is my plan right now but would like to hear your stories and what you do and why!

Currently I am planning to ask for teiter testing ( testing done to see if she will have any immunity to things already and not require vaccinations for example I am immune to chicken pox so there is a chance she could be too and avoid the shot) second I plan to vaccinate for the remaining she does not have immunity for and plan to space them out ( only one shot at a time given weeks apart) to ensure if any reaction is had it can be documented and depending on the severity determine if it’s safe to continue to receive. Also I am considering teiter testing after receiving her first rounds of vaccinations to see if she developed immunity the first go around where it would be useless to receive a booster or get the booster if necessary ( over vaccinating can cause auto immune and immunity issues ).

Ps please no hateful or derogatory comments, just because one questions vaccinations doesn’t mean they are against them. We need to get used to questioning our doctors to ensure we are getting the proper care
