Attracted Pt. 5-Ending

A little while ago I stepped away from my desk and when I returned there was a note that read

"Hi it's Brian.

I am not interested at this time and not looking for anything serious right now. I still hope we can talk when we see each other but I'm not looking for anything serious

Thanks"...

I was crushed for 1) That he asked me out and then put this note on my desk & 2) That he didn't want to tell me face to face. I went to him and lightly said I'm sorry you feel as though I was looking for something serious right now, I wasn't. Thank you for letting me know. I appreciate the note. He said "I just wanted to be sure". I said that's fine and I respect that.

Handed him the note back and walked away.

No hard feelings. About the 3rd or 4th day after giving him my #, I felt he might've not been interested for his owns reason that's his choice and his business but I wanted to be optimistic just in case. I think it was really set in stone is when I found out my # was still there and we hadn't talked for days. I had the hardest time approaching him about that but I am now glad I did.

You never know unless you shoot your shot.

I still think he is a really sweet guy but that's the end to that!!
