Newborn/grocery store?

Can I take my daughter to Walmart with us? She’s 10 days old. We really need to go grocery shopping but I will also get separation anxiety if I leave her😂 or should we just be safe and stay home 👌

Weve taken our newborn out to the mall ,target,  walmart , and to the fair.. she caught a little cold fron her sisters and other than that shes been fine !! I think your definitely okay as long as no one is touching your baby or in your babys face

We’ve taken our newborn out at least once every few days since we got home. She’s 4 weeks on Monday. We needed to get groceries, go to doctor’s appointments, etc plus we went out to eat with her twice so far. We keep her in the car seat with the shade down and we’ve had no issues behind having to change her or feed her in parking lots. No one has touched her and we use hand sanitizer before we touch her again after being out.

Do what you’re comfortable with. I’ve taken my newborn to the pool (for big brothers swim lessons), on a walk around the college campus my SO works at, multiple restaurants, the vet clinic, and a few stores and have not had any problems. The strangers that did see him verbalized they knew better than to touch a newborn lol.

I went shopping with my son when he was 3 days old. He’s completely fine I would just cover the car seat with a blanket to prevent germs coming her way.
