Anyone gotten/ made your kids Daddy dolls for a deployment?

Did they help? My two year old is having a hard time with all the pre-deployment Separations and they have just been a few weeks here or there. So I’m trying to find ways to help lessen her anxiety When he leaves for a year.

She won’t let me leave the room. Wants to be in eye sight of me at all times. Won’t even stay with grandma in another room.

Did anyone have your spouse make little video messages? Like a birthday message, your having a hard day, just want to say I love you... (my kids are too little to read so videos)...

Any ideas or book suggestions would be helpful. For context my oldest two were to little to understand time the last time. The oldest was 15 weeks and the youngest was 6 weeks so they didn’t really understand.

Now they are 5,4,&2. So old enough to know and feel worried.
