Labor faster with number two?

Question

Everyone keeps telling me the second one comes faster. My first was an emergency c section. I’m having a scheduled c section with this one. If I go into labor first will she still come quick even though I delivered via c section last time?

No idea what the average is, but it seems like it kind of depends on how far you dilated with your first labor. If you made it to like 9cm, your second labor might be faster because your body has done it before, but if you had your cesarean early in labor it may be as if your body hasn’t really labored before.
My first birth was an emergency cesarean when I was only dilated to 3.5cm, and my second was a VBAC, but labor took 48 hours from the first contraction/14 hours of active labor. So it was not quick. Hoping baby #3 will come a little bit quicker.

This happened to me, my scheduled c-section was schedled at 40 weeks (idk why) but i went to labor 8 days early and after arriving to the L&D my water broke on it’s own while i was laying down and i was wheeled in to the theater right away, i’m worried about this time and will mention it to my doctor.

If you're having a scheduled c-section I dont think it will matter. The process is still the same as far as surgery so the baby wouldnt come any faster.

Both of my births were induced, same thing for both. Cervadil started around 7pm and then pitocin 7am the next morning. I will say with my second the cervadil threw me into labor unlike my first. 
First was born at 4(something)pm
Second was born at 1(something)pm. 
So it was a little shorter the second time. My husband and I were both surprised. We were planning on it taking longer and so was my family, no one was at the hospital besides my husband. It was great!
