Fertility Q

So here’s the thing. Lol My fiancé and I have been together for almost 5 years now. We have never used birth control or condoms, so we never really prevented pregnancy but we weren’t technically “trying” either. Figured if it happens then that’s okay!

A little back story: when I was younger I was with another guy and it was the same situation except we weren’t together long lol

I also have hypothyroidism, which a doctor I used to go to said that this can cause infertility issues? But I know people w/ the same thyroid issue and they have kids. Lol so I never have gotten a clear answer on that.

So here’s my question: a lot of people would have thought that I should/would have gotten pregnant by now. Does this mean that I’m likely infertile or have some type of infertility issue?
