A little lost- post IUD removal help

Hey ladies! So I have an important question...

Long story short, I’ve had the morena IUD for 5 years. When it was inserted, the woman was harsh, it was a newer birth control climbing in the ranks, and lets just say our client health care relationship ended the day she put the IUD in me. I haven’t had any issues with it since after the first year, but my new doctor couldn’t find the strings a while ago. Flash forward to a month ago and she still couldn’t find them.

I got the NEXOPLAN and I love it! She inserted that before removing the IUD so I was protected.

I had the IUD removed this past Monday- but it was in my uterus and they had to puncture through me to get it and find it. Most painful experience other than getting it inserted I don’t know which was worse. They told me I would bleed, but I am curious...

How long did you guys bleed for after that procedure if you had it or know anyone who has? It’s been almost a week and I’m bleeding pretty heavily...
